Security & Privacy

Yes. We take security extremely seriously:

  • Bank-level encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • FCA-registered partner: We use TrueLayer for Open Banking access (FCA-authorized)
  • OAuth authentication: We never see or store your Gmail password
  • Read-only access: We can only read your emails and transactions, never modify or delete
  • No data selling: We never share or sell your data to third parties. Ever.

Only return confirmation emails from retailers. Here's how it works:

  • We use Gmail API with very specific filters (e.g., "from:asos.com AND subject:return")
  • We only access emails from known retailers about returns/refunds
  • We don't read personal emails, receipts, or anything unrelated to refunds
  • Our AI extracts only: retailer name, return date, amount, order number

Your personal emails, work emails, and private conversations are completely invisible to us.

No. Absolutely not.

We have read-only access via Open Banking:

  • We can see incoming transactions (to match refunds)
  • We cannot see your balance
  • We cannot make payments or transfers
  • We cannot move money in any way

This is enforced by TrueLayer and your bank - even if we wanted to (we don't), it's technically impossible.

Yes. We're fully GDPR compliant. You have the right to access, export, or delete your data at any time. Just email [email protected] and we'll process your request within 48 hours.

How It Works

Simple 3-step process:

  1. Email Detection: Our AI scans your Gmail for return confirmations from retailers
  2. Transaction Matching: We monitor your bank account for incoming refund transactions
  3. Smart Alerts: When we match a return to a refund, you get a confirmation. If overdue, we alert you

It all happens automatically in the background. You literally do nothing.

When you connect your email, we scan back 90 days to find any pending returns. If we find any, we'll start tracking them immediately. Perfect for catching up on returns you'd forgotten about!

Very accurate. We use proprietary AI which achieves 95%+ accuracy in extracting return details.

If something looks off, we'll ask you to confirm before tracking. We're constantly improving the system based on edge cases.

Account & Cancellation

Cancel from your dashboard anytime. Your subscription ends at the end of your current billing period.

Yes. Go to Settings → Delete Account. All your data (emails, transactions, account info) is permanently deleted within 48 hours. This cannot be undone.

Troubleshooting

A few possible reasons:

  • Email in Spam/Promotions: Check your Gmail Spam and Promotions folders
  • Retailer not supported yet: If it's a small/new retailer, send us the email and we'll add support within 48 hours
  • No email sent: You can manually add the return in your dashboard
